Missions
I'm a Christian which means I believe Jesus Christ is my lord and savior. I love travelling and telling people about my religion. I have gone on many mission trips.
In the Czech Republic, I taught music at a camp for teenagers. In the mornings and evening we would have programs where the students had the chance to hear the word of God along with doing a fun crazy dance. After camp I stayed with one of the students and her family. It was incredible to be fully immersed in the culture. In the Czech I heard about the internship I later did in Latvia.

In Germany, I taught English to teenagers at a camp where similarly to the Czech Republic we talked about God at the morning and evening programs. In the mornings we would split the students into different sections and then go through exercises and lesson to help them improve their English. In the afternoons we would play sport or various games. We also hiked up a mountain to a small prayer chapel at the top.
In the Netherlands, I lived with a family and helped with the local church. This was amazing in that I really felt like I was living in the Netherlands. We organized activities, lake days, and day trips to other cities. I also helped with a bible study. My main focus was to be a strong Christian presence in the community.
In England, I worked with a local youth group in event planning and executing. While I was there we held a concert, dance party, and carnival for the local youth. I also did outreach, such as walking around and talking with strangers and handing out flyers. On our last day we got fish and chips by the sea as fireworks went off over the ocean.
